Kelly Tapley

Research & Projects Officer (BA/Psych, BAppSci Hons)
SuperFriend

As Research & Projects Officer, Kelly’s role at SuperFriend is to manage the Foundation’s research activities from concept to completion. This means she oversees our research activities from the scoping and business cases phases through to tender, stakeholder management and analysis and evaluation. She’s particularly passionate about the latter, believing that everything we do should result in best practice, high-quality outcomes that have practical applications. In other words, Kelly believes that SuperFriend’s activities should always result in outcomes that make a positive difference for our stakeholders and their members. “Ultimately, I want to see SuperFriend playing  a part in saving and improving lives,” she says.

There’s little doubt that Kelly is a passionate person. When she’s not at work and focused on the Foundation’s research activities she devotes herself to her family and discovering their next holiday destination. Her bucket list includes experiencing the Northern lights, Aurora Borealis, in Lapland (the northern parts of Finland, Norway and Sweden).

With a background in dance, Kelly nominates Gene Kelly as someone from the past she would love to spend an afternoon with. “That would be amazing,” she says. “He dances with such finesse and masculinity.”

To relax and unwind, Kelly enjoys a walk in nature or sitting down with a glass of vino, a handful of pistachios and a celebrity gossip magazine.
