The newest member of the SuperFriend team, Lorraine is the Foundation’s Finance & Administration Officer. She’s responsible for ensuring accurate and appropriate financial data is captured and reported, in-line with the Foundation’s policies and stakeholder requirements. She is also the team “go to” person for administrative support.
Lorraine was attracted to working for a mental health promotion organisation by the opportunity to be part of a team and organisation that contributes to society in a positive manner. She hopes to see SuperFriend achieve further growth and recognition, and for opportunities for further positive mental health work to be done in workplaces.
On weekends, Lorraine enjoys reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her family and friends. She’s also studying, with two years remaining of a Bachelor of Business Accounting. Lorraine is also a fan of Super Woman, a character who also stood up for what she believed was right and always looked amazing at the same time. If she could spend an afternoon with someone from history, Lorraine would enjoy some time with Mary MacKillop, while another afternoon her great aunty Ruby would be priceless.
