Coping with Grief

If you, someone close to you or a colleague has ever experienced an adverse life altering experience such as the death of close one, being diagnosed and living with a terminal or serious illness, changed relationship status or loss of a job it is not unusual to experience grief.

Grief has no set pattern and its severity and length is different for every person.

Some common signs of grief include:

  • Feelings of guilt, loss and numbness;
  • Disbelief;
  • Anger;
  • Yearning for things to return to the way they were before.
