Collaborations
SuperFriend has invested in expanding its policy community through formal and informal collaborations and alliances. It is through these collaborations that we are able to advocate for widespread system change through regulation, policy and practice by working with collaborators to influence government, business leaders and industry.
Within the suicide prevention and mental health policy arena, SuperFriend has played an active role as a member of Suicide Prevention Australia, as well as the Mentally Healthy Workplace Alliance, the Victorian Workplace Mental Wellbeing Collaboration and LeadingWell Queensland.
Additionally, SuperFriend joined the international collaboration, the International Initiatives in Mental Health Leadership (IIMHL), a coalition of eight signatory countries that organises systems for international innovation sharing, networking and problem solving across countries and agencies. In particular, over the past 12 months, collaboration with the Mental Health Commission of Canada has had a significant impact on SuperFriend’s activities and policy direction.
