SuperFriend appoints Nicholas Vamvakas as new Chairperson to its Board of Directors

Australia, Tuesday, 7th March 2023: SuperFriend, a leading workplace mental health and well-being not-for-profit, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Vamvakas as its new Chairperson to its Board of Directors, effective from 14th February 2023.

Mr Vamvakas’ appointment follows his tenure on the SuperFriend Board since 2021. A respected leader with 35 years in the financial services sector, Nicholas has held executive positions at Cbus and ME Bank and was the former CEO at Equipsuper. Nicholas is also the Chair of the Finance Risk and Audit Committee of Football Victoria.

SuperFriend CEO, Darren Black says:

Nicholas brings more than 35 years of experience in financial services, and has a solid dedication to achieving positive outcomes for members and customers. We strongly believe that Nicholas is the right person to lead the Board as we position SuperFriend for its next stage of growth and development.”

On his appointment, Nicholas Vamvakas says:
