Simonie has a background in oncology nursing, work health and safety and occupational rehabilitation and has over 25 years’ experience working in the insurance industry in both workers compensation and life insurance. She joined AIA in 2014.  

Simonie has a strategic role and is responsible for AIA Australia’s wellbeing customer value proposition which forms much of the shared value strategy at AIA. Simonie seeks out shared value partnerships to support members by improving their health and wellbeing through all stages of the health continuum. From when they are well, supporting them when they are unwell and assisting them to recover and return to life and work. 

She is passionate about supporting members with their metal wellbeing.
